Burn, True Rockers as some people may call them can hardly be called an up and comming Rock &
Roll Band. The band has gone through their share of teething problems and have proven to be one of the better rock & roll
bands in Trinidad. The band consists of Robin Juteram - Vocals, Ancil Ramcharan - Guitar, The Fly - Guitar, Stanley Jennings
- Bass, Brent Batson - Drums. From their humble beginings in Sangre Grande (originally as the band Escape) in 1993. Their
initial works in the making included tracks from Iron Maiden, Guns `N Roses and the Scorpions. The many hours spent by
the band and timestaken efforts paid off in 2005 when they won The Anchorage Pop Music Awards. The many hours
spent learning popular cover songs such as Bad Boys Running Wild and Winds of Change (Scorpions) and Number of the
Beast (Iron Maiden) gave them the confidence and competence to enter the Battle of the Bands one of the biggest
local Rock events which was to be held at St. Johns Ambulance Hall in Port of Spain (at the time). Escape decided to
compete against the 13 carded bands and had little expectation, content just to be performing one of Trinidads most prestige
rock competitions and to live the experience. The following tow years saw four major break-ups which pretty much saw
the demise of Escape but this led to the birth of a new entity. Burn. The first time any one saw burn was at the 1999
Anchorage Pop Music Awards, where they placed third, but took home the prize for Best Male Vocals. Then in 2000 the band came
third again but went home as the Peoples Choice. Having gained tremendous popularity, Burn became a staple of the Trinidad
Rock & Rollers diet and could be seen performing in prety much any venue that offered live rock & roll entertainment.
After a vey hectic and demanding tour scence and performing schedule the band turned their energies to writing new original
material and went off the scene fro a time. They have continued to work on their original material. Burn can be seen at many
of The Rock City Internationals' events throughout Trinidad & Tobago.

*Vox Deus comes from the latin phrase 'Vox populi, Vox Deus', which when roughly translated means the voice
of the people is the voice of God. Vox Deus, Based in Trinidad and Tobago, *Vox Deus was formed in 2002/03
by Nikolas Khan, Matthew Coelho, Devin Harrypaul and Kelan Graham. Over the years, members left and were replaced and then
those members left and were replaced. The current lineup has proven to be the one that gels together best and has been playing
together for 2 years. The current lineup is: Matthew 'youngers' Coelho - vocals, Nikolas 'Snickles' Khan - lead guitar, Jonathan
'Sundar' Ramsundar - bass, Gerard 'footie' Ferreira ' rhythm guitar and Nicholai 'mickelo' Assam - drums. The band
is managed by Joey 'ullum' Balgobin. The band and their performance emanate an energy and on stage performance which words
can not explain and you really have to see these guys to understand the statement. Even if you are not into their genre of
music you will find their show entertaining. Its not for the weak at heart. Drop kicks on fellow members and splits and dances
is not an uncommon sight and the band is never short on entertainment. Their music is equally as captivating and exciting
as is the stage show. With multiple generes incorporated into the band's music (sometimes even in the same song) the songs
leave you moshing or moving your feet and wanting more. Something for everyone, this probably won't be a genre purist's favourite
band but Vox dares them not to be moved by certain songs or parts of songs. Vox Deus is presently recording a 4 song demo
and on the path to continuing their evolution and maturity in song writing and stage antics with the aim of diving into
international waters and making as many waves as possible. Recently their performed at The Tsunami Club in Chaguaramas with
three other bands and fans were not disappointed. (See our show reviews section)

The best music is full of passion, memorable melodies and pleasant surprises, and the work of Orange Sky certainly
qualifies. Orange Sky is a roots/rock band from the tropical island paradise of Trinidad and Tobago. The
influence of Caribbean music is deeply entrenched within Orange Sky's distinctive style. The members of
Orange Sky include vocalist/lead guitarist/song writer Nigel Rojas, rhythm guitarist Adam Murray, bass guitarist Nicholas
Rojas and drummer Obasi Springer. The band has performed alongside top international acts as well as some of Trinidads local
artiste. Whatever the venue Orange Sky fits right in.
